🔴 Notkarspitze (6h, 1091hm)

We’ve been in Ettal before on the way to the Linderhof.
We won’t stay there long this time and head to the next summit, the Notkarspitze (as alway, the english Wikipedia does not contain much more information then the location, there’s more on the german version).

The ascend is quite rocky and steep (I was told), alpenvereinaktiv even rates the route to be hard, but I don’t think it really is. Maybe it’s not the best idea to have this be your veriy first tour or to join with sneakers.

🟢 Pendling (6:55h, 1102hm)

Here it is, the long promised tour heading east from munich.
We start at the train station in Kufstein, need to walk a bit until we are out of town, and have a hike around the Pendling. After the top of the Pendling, the Pendlinghaus is nearby.
Unfortunately, I didn’t find an alternative way back, so we return the same way we came.

If you join by train, I assume you to have a Deutschland-Ticket. If not, please check who else needs a ticket and align to get one on time.

🔴 Rabenkopf (6:20h, 1135hm)

No Wiesn this weekend? We got you covered.
If you went to the Wiesn the day before, we even start later than usual.

I did the tour before, but not the way back, so we’ll see how it goes.
Starting in Kochel, we walk through the town until we reach the woods. We either walk along a wider road, I planned taking smaller paths, first to Sonnenspitz. From here through a wide valley into a steeper valley up to the Rabenspitze.
As I wrote, I haven’t yet taken the path down, we might also choose another route, but that’s the fastest way back.

🟢 Riederstein & Baumgartenscheid (5:00h, 778hm)

I wasn’t so sure about all the new snow last weekend, so I didn’t setup a hike. So I was looking for a hike, which doesn’t go that high, but is not that booring.

The Tour is this time between Tegernsee and Schliersee.
We start in Tegernsee with the first destination of the Riederstein, from where we have a nice view on the Tegernsee. From here, the next summit is the Baumgartenscheid. From here, you can see the Tegernsee, and also the Schliersee. You can already see the final destination as well.
Now it’s already the descent, which is further than what we did before. Unfortunately, there’s no Hut on the path. We will enter the Train in Schliersee. I assume many people being around, so it could be crowded. But the hike is a rather quick one, so we could be lucky and still find some space.

⚫ Schellschlicht (6:50h, 1279hm)

First, sorry for early departure, but trip takes a while and I don’t want to return that late.

We are also slightly at risk that we cannot do it, because a road we need to pass is closed due to wood-work. We’re only using the start of it and it’s weekend so I assume we’re fine.
If we really cannot do it, we can head to Hoher Ziegspitz and further to Stepbergalm.

⚫ Schildenstein (5:45h, 981hm)

I defined this tour hard, because the Wolfsschlucht is not just a simple path to walk. I also chose to go on Saturday, current forecast to Sunday is rain.
We start easy reaching the Wolfsschlucht. The path is not always clear, we might need to cross a small steam. At the end of the Wolfsschlucht, it’s going up. You’ll need to use hands and feet, it’s easy climbing. Here’s a video to have an idea. There also smaller parts with some rope.
Once on top it’s not far away to reach the Schildenstein.
