Friday is public holiday, so let’s do an epic hike. It’s mostly epic because of length.
We start in Benediktbeuren to get to Benediktenwand. For here, we stay quite a while along the ridge to 2nd highest peak of hike, Latschenkopf. From here we still stay high, head to Brauneck, from where we descend to Lenggries.

As trains seem to not have the same service as on a normal day, we’ll end up at Ostbahnhof, or you might find another way how to get where you need to go.

If you join by train, I assume you to have a Deutschland-Ticket. If not, please check who else needs a ticket and align to get one on time.

We head into the train 10 minutes before departure to get seats.
